Investment Banking Associate

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Assist with both buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions transactions, from initial client presentation through to deal closing.
• Develop and update complex financial models, perform detailed valuation analyses, and prepare comprehensive transaction documentation.
• Carry out thorough industry research, perform market analysis, and conduct due diligence to support transaction activities.
• Analyze corporate financial statements to extract insights that aid client advisory services.
• Coordinate and manage multiple active deals concurrently within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory services, or private equity sectors.
• Proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques such as Discounted Cash Flows (DCF), Leveraged Buyouts (LBO), and comparable company analyses.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with excellent organizational and communication skills.
