Investment Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Investment Analyst to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely. The role involves applying sophisticated financial modeling and analytical techniques to support investment decisions, with a flexible commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week. Compensation is competitive, ranging from $154 to $210 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update advanced financial models such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Leveraged Buyout (LBO), and valuation frameworks to guide investment strategies.
• Perform thorough financial and investment analyses to evaluate business opportunities and risks, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Generate precise and timely financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for stakeholders to assist in strategic planning.
• Examine extensive datasets to extract meaningful insights that influence capital market and investment choices.
• Keep abreast of market trends, financial news, and emerging financial technology developments to enhance investment approaches.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support AI-driven financial initiatives ensuring alignment with business goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Have substantive experience in financial analysis, investment evaluation, or capital markets with a minimum experience requirement unlisted.
• Exhibit advanced proficiency with Excel for modeling and data assessment purposes.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of valuation techniques including DCF and LBO, alongside forecasting methods.
• Showcase strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and competency in preparing and communicating comprehensive financial reports.
