Internal Audit Manager

About the Role

Leonid Group Ltd is recruiting an Internal Audit Manager for a leading global shipping and logistics company headquartered in Dubai. This role involves contributing to a high-functioning internal audit team that supports the Executive Board by conducting risk-driven audits, investigations, and advisory services across a wide international operation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive risk-based internal audit projects spanning various business areas.
• Identify crucial risks, detect control deficiencies, and propose operational improvements.
• Manage audits from inception through final reporting and follow-up phases.
• Deliver clear and actionable audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Draft detailed and concise audit documentation.
• Track the progress and implementation of corrective measures with business units.
• Assess and improve the organization's internal controls.
• Assist in advisory projects and help formulate the annual audit plan.
• Perform confidential investigations as needed into suspected irregularities.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of five years' experience in internal auditing within shipping, logistics, heavy industry, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical skills paired with the ability to navigate complex business workflows.
• Prior exposure to data analytics tools is preferred.
• Proven experience in leading audit teams and managing multiple stakeholder interests.
• Outstanding communication skills both written and oral, comfortable presenting to senior executives.
• Collaborative mindset, proactive and commercially aware approach.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic, French, or Portuguese languages is a plus.
• Willingness to undertake international travel approximately 30% of the time.
