About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Intake Officer to join our team in Fraser Coast on a permanent full-time basis. This role focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities by facilitating their connection to suitable employment opportunities, thus fostering their confidence, independence, and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial contact point to warmly welcome and assist people with disabilities beginning their employment journey.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' needs, determine service suitability, and verify eligibility requirements.
- Develop personalized employment plans that identify and address barriers, aiming to achieve successful job outcomes for clients.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local entities such as schools and community organizations to enhance client referrals and engagement.
