Position: Instructional Designer

Location: Sydney

Employment Type: Contract / Fixed Term

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough needs analysis to pinpoint learning gaps, identify target groups, and gather business needs.
• Design and create top-tier instructional content such as e-learning modules, facilitator guides, learner materials, assessments, and job aids.
• Utilize adult learning principles, instructional design models, and inclusive design methodologies.
• Develop blended and digital learning experiences that are engaging, scalable, and capable of measurement.
• Partner closely with subject matter experts, leadership, and business stakeholders to extract knowledge and translate it into impactful learning materials.
• Offer strategic advice on learning tactics, approaches, and delivery formats.
• Lead workshops and feedback sessions to ensure alignment with business objectives and learner needs.
• Create e-learning courses using authoring software such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content distribution and progress tracking.
• Implement evaluation frameworks to gauge learning effectiveness and impact.
• Collect feedback to continually enhance and refine learning content.
• Keep instructional materials current, accurate, and consistent with organizational standards.
