The Consumer Goods Division specializes in aiding brands, retailers, and manufacturers across the globe to provide safe, high-quality, and ethically produced products. Inspectors, auditors, and lab technicians within this division apply their expertise to protect consumers from various sectors including apparel, toys, electronics, appliances, and furniture.
Role Overview
As a Quality Inspector within the Operations department, reporting to the Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager, you will help maintain QIMA's standards by performing on-site inspections of client goods. This role focuses on delivering top-tier services ensuring product compliance and safety.
Primary Responsibilities
- Regularly check email inbox for inspection documents.
- Attend inspections punctually and maintain professional communication with suppliers.
- Conduct thorough inspections of merchandise following company protocols.
- Oversee the proper loading of containers in line with company guidelines.
- Complete inspection reports within stipulated timelines and according to company standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a college degree or a related educational background.
- Over three years of experience in Hardline product inspection.
- Familiarity with Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards and pertinent safety and quality regulations.
- Proficient command of written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail paired with high professional integrity.
