Inspector - Civil

Overview

We are seeking a Civil Inspector with expertise in infrastructure projects to oversee contractor work, ensuring compliance with specifications and approved drawings. This role involves providing daily progress updates to management and demands strong technical proficiency, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of ongoing road construction activities to verify contractors adhere strictly to contract specifications and sanctioned shop drawings.
• Monitor and report daily on contractor progress in all road-related tasks to line management.
• Inspect and document that all work conforms to authorized methodologies.
• Ensure site instructions are properly executed and communicate any findings to the Resident Engineer.
• Verify the location of services on-site and safeguard their integrity.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Possesses at least eight years of relevant experience in the field.
• Exhibits strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrates integrity, flexibility, proactiveness, and the capability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
