Information Technology Manager

About the Role

Join Nestlé Nespresso SA in Jeddah as an Information Technology Manager, responsible for executing the headquarters Information Systems and IT strategy, delivering market roadmaps and key initiatives, and providing world-class services. This vital role involves collaborating effectively with local and global cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and enhance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and align local Information Systems strategy with the HQ overarching strategy, ensuring clear communication of objectives and integrating IS plans with business goals.
• Manage and balance market IS roadmaps by considering headquarters and regional requirements while addressing cross-departmental market needs.
• Build and sustain partnerships between IS and other departments to optimize resource use, transparency, and accountability concerning costs and business value of IT solutions.
• Implement business partnerships with external vendors according to procurement policies.
• Oversee setup and configuration of both HQ and local applications, ensuring they meet local requirements.
• Define services and service level agreements for business units and identify needs for new or changed services.
• Determine necessary IT hardware and software to fulfill overall business strategies and maintain accurate IT asset records in sync with HQ configuration and financial management.
• Prepare and manage CAPEX budget aligned with strategic plans, monitor IS/IT expenditures, and ensure budget adherence.
• Collaborate with functional groups and IS teams to identify, document, and resolve technology and process issues while fostering continuous improvements.
• Ensure service availability, efficient resource management, and system performance optimization via KPIs and future capacity planning.
• Maintain monitoring of IT infrastructure events, operations logs, and enable chronological reconstruction for operations review.
• Enhance productivity by promptly resolving user queries and incidents to minimize disruptions.
• Facilitate fast, reliable change delivery while mitigating risks to environment stability and integrity.
• Maintain business continuity and information availability at acceptable levels during major disruptions.
• Ensure local IS governance complies with headquarters policies, including leading IS security and policy implementation.
• Define and enforce roles, responsibilities, authority levels, and segregation of duties concerning data handling.
• Ensure IS consultants and contractors adhere to organizational policies and contractual obligations.
• Lead the IS team in creating and implementing standard operating procedures within the IS function.
• Establish decision-making processes to prioritize resource allocation and discretionary investment rules for departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Minimum of 7 years in IS/IT with 3 to 5 years in leadership roles managing IS/IT teams.
• Experience in the retail industry or working with retail brands.
• Proven project management skills, including planning, leadership, and execution.
• Strong capabilities in facilitating conflict resolution and stakeholder management within matrix organizations.
• Exceptional people leadership, management, and talent development expertise.
• Knowledge and experience with e-commerce systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and SAP.
