Job Description
The HR Coordinator will manage daily HR operations, including conducting multiple interviews, onboarding new employees, handling employee relations, and performing timecard audits. This position requires on-site presence with occasional travel to nearby locations within Columbus, necessitating reliable local transportation. Remote work is not permitted.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data accurately into various HRIS systems such as Workday and maintain spreadsheets like Google Sheets, ensuring confidential employee records are up to date.
- Manage departmental communications via email and voicemail, directing inquiries appropriately.
- Engage directly with team members in-person, by phone, or email to respond to HR-related questions, requiring frequent face-to-face interaction.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Rogue Fitness’s HR policies and procedures to provide accurate guidance.
- Conduct time and attendance processing and perform detailed audits to track absenteeism, point system results, and other relevant metrics.
- Assist in conducting group interviewing sessions.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire badges, completing documentation, and verifying employment eligibility through I-9 and e-Verify.
- Be available for occasional on-call responsibilities and support HR needs outside standard first-shift hours as required.
Candidate Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and dependable personal transportation for local travel.
- Proficiency with Workday or comparable Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet software, especially Google Sheets functions and data validation, to ensure accurate reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to professionalism in all interactions.
- Excellent organizational capabilities with the ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail in all tasks.
