About the Role

Iceland Foods is looking to hire Home Delivery Drivers to join their team in Denny, Scotland. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy staying active, value independence, and like interacting with customers directly. The driver acts as the public face of Iceland, delivering groceries safely and ensuring excellent customer service throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe loading procedures for the delivery van, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Drive responsibly by strictly adhering to road safety rules and best driving practices.
• Conduct routine checks on the delivery van to ensure it is in good working order.
• Ensure that food items are delivered in excellent condition to customers.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service upon delivery.
• Support in-store activities when required.
• Operate independently and manage your own time effectively during shifts.
• Be flexible to work varied shifts that may start as early as 6 am and finish as late as 11 pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Have a positive, friendly attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of working reliably to deadlines.
• Demonstrate considerable awareness of road safety.

Compensation and Benefits

• The hourly wage is £13.71.
