Key Responsibilities

• Execute deburring, polishing, blending, and hand finishing operations for aerospace components pre- and post-machining, adhering strictly to Manufacturing Operations & Tooling protocols, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Interpret technical documents and process instructions to guarantee compliance with specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure all finishing efforts satisfy dimensional, aesthetic, and quality standards outlined in technical manuals and process guidelines.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as sand blasting machines, lapping and drilling tools, tumbling devices, and various cleaning systems including vapor degreasers.
• Utilize hand tools safely and proficiently, including handheld grinders, polishing devices, engraving instruments, and precision finishing tools.
• Perform visual inspection and measurement tasks to confirm adherence to customer and aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain workplace tidiness aligned with 5S, TPM, safety, and quality directives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including Kaizen events, productivity boosts, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Accurately document production activities and follow established operational procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Machinists, Quality Inspectors, Manufacturing Engineers, and Supervisors to resolve quality or workmanship issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum qualifications at N-Level/O-Level, SPM, or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years' hands-on experience in polishing, deburring, blending, or hand finishing, particularly within aerospace or precision engineering sectors.
• Mechanical trade or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Competency with hand tools and polishing machinery is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and manuals effectively.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of 5S, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on high-quality workmanship.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a team-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic production environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and support mandatory permanent morning shifts (7:00 AM – 4:18 PM) as required.
