Position Summary
The Guest Experience Lead plays a key role in delivering top-tier in-store experiences to all visitors. By leading from the sales floor and providing expert product knowledge, this position ensures our brand value resonates uniquely with each guest. As part of the store’s leadership team, the Guest Experience Lead drives sales goals and fosters an inclusive environment. Responsibilities include assisting in staff evaluations, influencing hiring decisions, and spearheading team performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Champion the lululemon guest experience model by actively leading on the retail floor to maintain exceptional and welcoming interactions.
- Regularly evaluate and enhance guest connection and technical product education, personally assisting guests when necessary.
- Move proactively across the store to address business, team, and guest needs effectively.
- Prepare store environments to ensure readiness for guests and uphold operational excellence during shifts.
- Execute store opening and closing procedures accurately.
- Analyze daily sales and other business metrics to monitor progress and motivate the team to meet objectives.
- Participate actively in recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and team training.
- Provide constructive feedback, recognition, coaching, and hands-on development to team members to encourage ongoing growth.
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and inclusive team culture that encourages engagement and a productive atmosphere.
Required Qualifications and Eligibility
- Legal eligibility to work at the store location.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the assigned store.
- Flexible schedule availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasionally late nights or early mornings during busy periods or special events.
- Minimum of one year experience in retail or customer service, including handling guest resolutions and difficult interactions.
- Some leadership experience through mentoring, delegating tasks, or guiding peers.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience with retail or sales leadership roles, even if informal, such as leading tasks or mentoring colleagues.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Job requires movement throughout the store with exposure to bright lights and loud music.

- Physical activities include lifting boxes, fixtures, and mannequins up to 30 pounds, as well as climbing ladders to reach materials.
