Role Overview
The Senior Manager at the Global Security Coordination Center (GSCC) is tasked with producing and delivering high-caliber geopolitical and security intelligence. This role focuses on analysis and reporting on global developments that could affect Wipro’s people, facilities, operations, and clients across multiple regions including the Americas, Europe, APMEA, and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold Pinkerton’s principles of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Perform detailed analysis on geopolitical and security situations relevant to Wipro’s operational areas.
- Continuously monitor worldwide events such as political changes, unrest, terrorism, conflicts, crime, cyber non-technical activities, natural disasters, and socio-economic disruptions.
- Generate frequent intelligence reports, briefings, and analytical assessments for internal use.
- Assist in creating country and city risk profiles, travel risk evaluations, and thematic risk assessments.
- Examine multiple data sources to detect trends and potential threats, leveraging technology and AI tools.
- Help develop frameworks and methodologies for risk evaluation.
- Provide actionable insights to aid business decisions and maintain situation awareness.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather intelligence requirements and information needs.
- Support crisis monitoring by delivering timely updates on global developments.
- Keep abreast of security trends including geopolitical conflicts and civil disturbances.
- Contribute to the upkeep of a centralized risk register for enterprise-wide security risks.
- Prepare presentations and briefing documents for stakeholders.
- Supervise junior analysts ensuring analytical quality and consistency.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 12 to 15 years of experience in geopolitical analysis, intelligence research, or security risk assessment.
- Advanced degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies or related disciplines.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 31000 in Risk Management.
- Demonstrated strong skills in analysis, research, and producing high-quality intelligence reports.
- Good understanding of global geopolitical and security dynamics and risk factors.
- Experience handling diverse data sources.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adept at using technology and AI to enhance research and analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Work Environment
- Requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Regular computer use with some physical activities like reaching, lifting small items, and equipment operation.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Travel may be required.
