Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, orderly, and correctly zoned grocery area at all times to ensure readiness for customers.
• Regularly rotate inventory and promptly remove expired or damaged goods to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure pricing accuracy, proper signage, and inventory correctness by following established procedures for ordering, markdowns, markups, labeling, and flagging.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to maintain a hygienic and safe workplace.
• Stock merchandise thoroughly, execute downstocking tasks, apply protective measures as needed, and set up modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies to sustain a hazard-free work environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to support smooth store operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges Inherent in This Role

• Manage heavy workloads efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight hours, to maintain focus and energy.
• Perform physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting products or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive duties like stocking and zoning with precision and consistency to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position starts at $17.75.
