Role Overview
As a Graduate QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to comprehend product specifications and translate these into detailed test strategies. Your responsibilities include devising and executing test scenarios across various products and features, supporting the setup and upkeep of test environments, and performing diverse testing activities such as functional, system, reliability, and automation testing under senior guidance. Additionally, you will analyze test outcomes, document defects, work alongside engineers to resolve issues, engage in integration and system-level testing to ensure product excellence, and propose enhancements to augment testing effectiveness and product quality. Cross-functional collaboration is essential for resolving technical challenges throughout development cycles.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduates or individuals with less than two years of full-time employment experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, or closely related disciplines.
- Solid programming capability in at least one language such as Python, Go, or Java, and an eagerness to learn automated testing frameworks.
- Fundamental knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Awareness of distributed systems architecture, network testing protocols, and database systems.
- Keen interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and other emerging tech trends.
- Highly motivated, diligent, and able to maintain consistent self-discipline.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
- Proactive with the ability to thrive in unclear and high-pressure environments.
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient command of English in both oral and written form; Mandarin language skills are an advantage.
