Role Overview
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Attain Healthtech, you will prioritize frontend performance, reliability, and accessibility. Your core responsibilities include developing and maintaining Angular-based frontend applications, advancing our Design System and Component Library, and upholding WCAG accessibility standards across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including designers and stakeholders—to address complex challenges and architect efficient frontend solutions.
- Lead technical ownership of software projects, ensuring robustness, accessibility, and usability of frontend architecture and applications.
- Develop, test, and deploy Angular frontend code in production environments.
- Create and sustain reusable components within our Design System and Component Library.
- Ensure all user-facing features comply with WCAG accessibility criteria.
- Produce comprehensive documentation such as component guides, architectural rationale, and inline code comments.
- Investigate and resolve frontend issues based on feedback from customers and stakeholders.
- Advocate best practices and maintain standardized, clean coding conventions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute actively to technical and architectural discussions.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of professional frontend development experience, primarily with Angular.
- Demonstrated expertise working with Design Systems and Component Libraries.
- Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and assistive technologies.
- Advanced understanding of modern frontend tech including HTML semantics, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Ability to translate requirements and designs into functional frontend implementations.
- Experience in testing and validating frontend code quality.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in producing clear technical documentation.
- Familiarity with development tools such as GitHub and Jira.
