Role Overview

As a Freelance Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of multifaceted healthcare and pharmaceutical projects. This role involves close cooperation with Client Services and cross-functional teams to clarify project scopes, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risk factors, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive project management activities for multiple healthcare or pharmaceutical projects using tools like Smartsheet, JIRA, Microsoft Project, or TFS.
• Collaborate with Client Services, discipline leads, and stakeholders to synchronize deliverables, timelines, budgets, and expectations.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, forecasting, risks, and resource plans across active client engagements.
• Monitor project developments and provide transparent status updates, escalate issues when necessary, and offer delivery advice to involved parties.
• Coordinate efforts among strategy, creative, medical, technology, media, and client service teams to uphold delivery quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience managing complex client-facing projects within agencies, consulting firms, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences.
• Strong proficiency in English communication, adept at managing project updates, risk briefings, and client interactions with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven capability in handling scope, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource management across concurrent projects.
• Practical experience utilizing project management tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, Microsoft Project, or TFS to maintain project progress.
• Experienced collaborator with Client Services and cross-functional teams to execute integrated client projects.
• Knowledgeable in waterfall and/or agile project management approaches applied to multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Attributes

• Comfortable incorporating artificial intelligence technologies into daily work processes.
• Experienced supporting geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones.
• Proficient in presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management or clients.
• Familiarity with SCRUM methodology and agile delivery processes.
• Understanding of organizational change management within project delivery settings.
• Strong financial and operational insights manifested through project or portfolio reporting.
