You will join a fast-scaling environment where preventing fraud and managing risk are central to keeping a digital marketplace safe and reliable. The role blends investigation, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to spot suspicious behavior, understand new fraud trends, and improve the controls that protect users and transactions.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working through complex issues, spotting unusual patterns, and building practical security improvements that make a real difference for a global user base.
Key responsibilities
- Review marketplace activity to detect suspicious behavior and stop fraudulent transactions.
- Study data to uncover fraud trends, new risk signals, and possible attack approaches.
- Handle escalated fraud investigations and suggest suitable actions based on risk findings.
- Work with product, data, and engineering teams to strengthen fraud prevention and detection systems.
- Build and update dashboards, reports, and alerts that support continuous fraud monitoring.
- Help shape fraud prevention policies, procedures, and day-to-day operating guidance.
- Spot system weaknesses and propose practical changes that improve trust and platform security.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to fraud prevention, risk operations, trust and safety, fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace work.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills, with comfort interpreting data and turning findings into actions.
- Familiarity with fraud monitoring tools, anomaly detection approaches, or rule-based risk controls.
- A detail-focused mindset and a proactive attitude toward identifying and resolving threats.
- Ability to coordinate well with product, data, and engineering stakeholders.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work independently in a fast-moving, growing setting.
- Strong English ability is needed; proficiency is preferred because the working language is international.
Benefits
- Annual compensation between €22,440 and €26,400, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Access to an employee stock options plan.
- Opportunity to help scale a distinctive digital product.
- Additional rewards may include performance bonuses, referral bonuses, extra paid leave, and personal learning budgets.
- Paid volunteering opportunities.
- Flexible work setup options, including office-based, remote, and work-from-anywhere arrangements.
- Support for personal and professional development through structured feedback and career growth processes.

The best-matching profiles are shortlisted and passed to the hiring company, whose internal team handles interviews, assessments, and final decisions.
Privacy and data processing
By submitting an application, you agree that the recruiting partner may process your personal data to assess your candidacy and share relevant information with the employer. This is based on legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You can request access, correction, deletion, or objection at any time.
