Position Overview
We are seeking a Foreign Exchange (FX) Option Trader to join our team in London as a Vice President. Our Deutsche Bank Foreign Exchange group is renowned globally, combining sales, trading, and research to structure and market diverse currency products across G10, Emerging Markets, and Precious Metals for all tenors. Operating amidst economic and regulatory flux, the team prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio risk associated with global flow derivative portfolios during London hours.
- Oversee pricing and execution of client trades and hedges across various FX markets.
- Provide market quotes representing the bank's franchise across multiple currencies and derivative products.
- Collaborate with Sales and engage institutional and corporate clients to grow the bank's FX franchise.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and client relationships.
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing systems and infrastructure continuously.
Candidate Requirements
- Knowledge of quantitative trading methods applied to FX derivative portfolios in both developed and emerging markets.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to improve productivity and optimize workflows, applying sound judgment for ethical data and AI use.
- Proficient handling of diverse currencies and derivative instruments.
- Strong market structure insight and ability to build effective relationships with clients, exchanges, and regulatory bodies.
- Commercially minded with initiative-taking capabilities and aptitude for resolving complex business challenges.
