Floor Technician

Job Overview

We seek a dependable and experienced Floor Technician to care for and maintain carpet and hard surface flooring at Highmark Stadium. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional weekend hours as needed. The pay rate is $20 per hour, subject to variation based on experience, skills, location, and market data.

Responsibilities

• Clean and upkeep buildings and facilities, including floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Use chemical cleaners and powered equipment safely, following procedures to protect floors and fixtures from damage.
• Report to management regarding any required minor or major repairs or system additions.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and managers.
• Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality protocols set by the company, clients, and regulators.
• Move furniture, boxes, and equipment manually or with hand trucks for cleaning purposes.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions with appropriate cleaning materials.
• Wash and replace blinds as part of routine cleaning duties.
• Collect and dispose of trash regularly.
• Perform seasonal outdoor tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas and restrooms thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Must satisfy any requirements for working in specific ATS environments, including providing a ten-year work history if applicable.
• No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training is provided.
• There is no mandatory educational diploma or degree requirement.
• Preferred candidates have customer service experience and at least one year of similar work background.
