Position Summary
We are recruiting a full-time Fleet Coordinator who will oversee daily fleet activities to guarantee the vehicles and drivers operate securely, efficiently, and comply fully with company protocols and legal standards.
Primary Duties
- Oversee the everyday management of the fleet to ensure optimal operation.
- Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, maintenance, and vehicle inspections to maximise fleet availability.
- Maintain accurate and current fleet documents and records.
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce vehicle downtime and enhance reliability.
- Facilitate incident reporting processes and assist in associated investigations as necessary.
- Ensure adherence by drivers to organisational policies, safety routines, fatigue management mandates, and transport regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in fleet coordination or related operational roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of heavy vehicle operations, compliance, and maintenance scheduling.
- Excellent organisation and effective time management abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Experience with regional and long haul transport operations is highly regarded.
