About the Opportunity
Fengate Asset Management's Infrastructure team is experiencing growth and seeks a Financial Analyst responsible for maintaining current financial records, managing routine tasks, and producing reports for Fengate’s Infrastructure projects. This position offers interaction with project directors, the infrastructure FP&A team, finance funds team, and accounts payable.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, curious, thriving in dynamic settings, capable of multitasking with efficiency, prioritizing under deadlines, and exhibiting strong attention to detail and process ownership. Foundational knowledge of accounting and reporting is essential.

Role Allocation
Infrastructure: Responsibilities include supporting fund operations, investor and internal reporting, financial analysis, tax, treasury and liquidity management, and ensuring compliance across Fengate’s Infrastructure Funds. This role collaborates with asset management, investments, fund administration, investor relations, tax teams, and external investors.
Real Estate: Responsible for assisting in maintaining up-to-date financial documentation, daily operations, and reporting for various Real Estate projects and properties. This involves close cooperation with teams in development, investment, asset and property management, and accounts payable across Fengate.
Key Duties
- Produce and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and adherance to relevant accounting standards and regulations across projects.
- Prepare monthly invoices for clients, capturing all billable items accurately and ensuring timely issuance.
- Maintain precise bookkeeping records documenting expenses, revenues, and financial transactions for each project.
- Compile and review quarterly financial statements maintaining compliance and detailed reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure financial activities meet regulatory and reporting compliance, prepare audit documentation, and coordinate with tax teams and advisors regarding filings and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with project and stakeholder teams to promote financial integrity and project success.
Qualification Requirements
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is mandatory.
- Additional education or progress toward CPA or CFA accreditation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ASPE or other GAAP standards is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A natural curiosity paired with a determination to understand essential metrics and drivers.

Work Location and Culture
This position follows a hybrid working model requiring 2-3 days per week in the office located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Compensation
The expected base salary range for this future opening is CAD 60,000 to CAD 75,000 annually.
