Finance Operations Lead

Position Overview

Join Meta's Finance Operations EMEA team as a Finance Operations Lead reporting to the Head of Finance Operations. The role focuses on managing Order to Cash (O2C) KPIs for a specific sub-region and product portfolio within EMEA. You will oversee critical finance functions such as credit reviews, collection cycles, and dispute management while leading efforts to enhance these processes using AI-enabled automation.

Key Duties

• Take responsibility for portfolio metrics including accounts receivable aging, bad debt ratios, collection efficiency, and dispute resolution timelines, aiming to enhance them through innovative processes and workflow redesigns.
• Carry out primary O2C activities including credit assessments, collections, dispute management, cash allocation, and risk oversight, while advancing efforts to automate and streamline operations ensuring SOX and policy compliance.
• Evaluate existing workflows to uncover opportunities to apply AI, automation, and sophisticated tools to remove manual tasks, decrease cycle time, and enhance decision-making quality across all O2C functions.
• Collaborate closely with outsourced business process teams to uphold service-level agreements (SLAs), augmenting roles through AI and automation to elevate SLA outcomes, minimize rework, and upgrade team skills for exception handling.
• Track and analyze business drivers such as customer concentration, payment pattern shifts, local economic factors, and emerging macroeconomic risks, serving as the finance liaison to Sales leaders on credit limit decisions and payment terms.
• Utilize data and predictive analytics to identify and proactively manage portfolio risks, transitioning from reactive to anticipatory risk management approaches.
• Engage with Policy, Legal, Compliance, and Sales Operations teams to guide AI implementation in compliance with governance and ethical standards.
• Work in partnership with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to co-create AI-based solutions tailored for finance operations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven background in Finance Operations, Order to Cash, or related functions such as Revenue Accounting, FP&A, or Sales Operations within a multinational setting.
• Strong interest and experience in leveraging AI-assisted processes and no-code automation to improve operational outcomes.
• Solid understanding and practical use of data analytics for decision-making and managing data quality.
• Experience collaborating with centralized analytics, data science, or engineering as a business product owner with skills in defining requirements and promoting tool adoption.
• Successful track record in driving adoption of innovative tools and processes through storytelling, demonstration, and persistence.

Preferred Experience

• Proven ability to integrate AI tools for workflow redesign and to achieve measurable efficiency and quality improvements.
• Familiarity with ethical AI practices including risk assessments, bias mitigation, and quality control.
• Hands-on experience developing or deploying AI/ML applications in finance or operations domains.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, use of large language models (LLM), and automation platforms.
• Commitment to continuous AI skill development and staying updated with new AI technologies.
