Finance Business Partner

Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Finance team in Brackley, UK, contributing within an intense, high-performance environment. You will work closely with various business stakeholders, offering financial insights that support strategic decisions and enhance race track performance while adhering to FIA Financial Regulations.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with senior business partners to deliver impactful financial insights that enable data-driven decisions.
• Challenge and influence leadership to optimize expenditures, ensuring compliance with statutory audits and FIA regulations.
• Spot financial risks and opportunities proactively, leading mitigation and improvement strategies.
• Assist with evaluation of investments, including capital expenditure proposals and business case creations.
• Develop and automate reporting mechanisms and dashboards to improve financial visibility and support decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for designated cost centers with accuracy and timely delivery.
• Analyze variances and performance drivers in forecasts and budgets.
• Collaborate with budget owners to guarantee thorough financial planning and assist the accounting team during month-end processes.
• Partner with the Financial Regulations team to ensure full adherence to FIA Financial Regulations and monitor expenditure within regulatory caps.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified ACCA or CIMA professional with proven post-qualification experience; degree or equivalent education preferred.
• Background in Finance Business Partnering or commercially oriented finance roles.
• Robust analytical skills combined with confidence to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of translating complex financial data into straightforward insights for non-finance audiences.
• Highly proactive, flexible, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and accountability.
• Proficient in advanced Excel; familiarity with Adaptive Planning and Power BI is advantageous.
• Committed to continuous process improvements and development of superior finance reporting and procedures.
