Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate in diverse teams of 3 to 5 consultants with backgrounds spanning finance, medicine, and natural sciences. Your support will span the entire transaction cycle for investors and their portfolio companies, including due diligence, value creation topics, and exit strategy development. A significant focus will be on advancing the rapidly expanding healthcare investor sector.
Your role includes assessing market attractiveness and facilitating market-transforming acquisitions. Beyond transactional tasks, you will work directly with portfolio companies to shape their value creation agendas and support companies poised to influence the healthcare landscape. Collaboration will extend to specialists such as founders, designers, and advanced analytics experts.
As a member of a fast-growing team, you will regularly engage in training and development programs and work closely within European and global teams. Your skill set will be honed through workshops on structuring complex challenges and deriving insights from qualitative and quantitative data. Strong communication skills will support building trusted client relationships and continuous leadership development via regular coaching and mentorship. Support from a Professional Development Manager will assist you in aligning project work with personal and organizational priorities.
Focusing on advisory services for clients in the private capital sector, you will be integrated into our Private Capital Practice and collaborate across various German offices and other European locations.
Our Practice is a global leader in private capital consulting, partnering with major local and international investors and their portfolio firms. Your engagement will involve navigating the entire transaction lifecycle, guiding transformations, and advising on value capture strategies such as strategic planning, digital business development, and commercial excellence. Cooperation with internal and external experts, data scientists, and design professionals will further enhance delivery.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Prior professional experience or internships within investment banking or private equity.
- A university degree completed with above-average results; a secondary academic qualification is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- High motivation paired with creativity, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Confident, engaging presence with strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel.
- Proficient communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken.
