Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a competent Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment ensuring they satisfy technical, safety, and quality standards. The engineer will be responsible for producing electrical schematics, performing calculations, preparing technical documentation, and guaranteeing adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to support product development, system integration, installation, and commissioning.
• Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.
• Analyze electrical systems, identify issues, and implement practical engineering solutions.
• Optimize designs for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist with project planning, conduct risk assessments, and participate in quality assurance and technical reviews throughout project phases.
• Innovate by evaluating emerging technologies and refining engineering processes.
• Ensure all deliverables are accurate, timely, and uphold safety and professional engineering standards.

Qualifications & Professional Skills

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including circuit design, power distribution, control systems, and electrical protection.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN or related tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specs.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment, measurement instruments, and diagnosing issues through troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and skillful in technical documentation preparation.
• Highly organized with project coordination capabilities and great attention to detail.
• Capable of working solo or collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong dedication to quality, safety, continuous improvement and adherence to professional standards.
