Surepoint is expanding its Calgary team and seeking Apprentice Electricians across all levels. We value individuals who are motivated, prioritize safety, demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and maintain a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out tasks compliant with Surepoint's environmental, health, safety, quality policies, and client standards.
- Install components such as cable trays, supports, conduit, and electrical infrastructure.
- Execute conduit work including cutting, threading, bending, and installation for EMT, rigid, PVC-coated, and other types.
- Manage power, control, and instrumentation cables by pulling, identifying, glanding, and terminating them.
- Set up and commission electrical equipment like motor control centers, switchgear, transformers, variable frequency drives, batteries, solar panels, heat tracing, motors, and related controls.
- Interpret electrical documentation including drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and adhere to electrical code standards.
- Keep company tools, equipment, and vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a registered Indentured Apprentice Electrician.
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Possession of valid certifications such as H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS is advantageous.
- Experience in industrial or commercial construction environments is beneficial.
- Ability to perform work in varied conditions including outdoor environments, different weather, and elevated positions as necessary.
