Driver Helper / Swamper

About the Role

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Driver Helper / Swamper for its Delta, British Columbia operations. This is a night-shift, full-time position that works alongside a Class 1 local delivery driver on set routes to support accurate and timely deliveries for customers, following standard operating procedures.

Schedule

The work pattern is 4 x 10, with shifts on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The shift begins at 7:00 pm.

What You’ll Do

You will travel with the local delivery driver on assigned routes, help complete deliveries, and support day-to-day route activities. Work is based out of Delta, and candidates will be serving a dedicated route in downtown Vancouver.

• Unload products carefully at customer locations
• Assist the Class 1 local delivery driver with delivery tasks
• Carry out other route-related duties as needed

Compensation and Benefits

The starting wage is $24.11 per hour. After 3 months, employees may be eligible for performance incentives, including the company’s pay-for-performance program. • Ability to lift, load, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs
