Driver

Role Overview

The driver is responsible for ensuring the safe and punctual transport of crew and staff between various locations including airports, training centers, hotels, and other designated points. The role requires adherence to strict safety and regulatory guidelines and requires timely maintenance and documentation of vehicle operations.

Primary Duties

• Safely transport crew and staff as per operational schedules.
• Carry out ad-hoc collections and deliveries when needed.
• Maintain punctuality to meet operational timelines.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and report any defects immediately.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy at all times.
• Monitor service schedules and license renewals to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, trip details, receipts, and reports.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies, security protocols, and road safety regulations.
• Provide courteous, professional, and customer-focused service to all crew and staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid Code B driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• At least two years of professional driving experience, preferably related to crew or staff transport.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Medically fit for the role.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with road traffic laws and regulations.
