Role Overview

The Document Integrity Specialist will join the Underwriting team to ensure the accuracy and legitimacy of merchant bank history and contractual documentation. Responsibilities include verifying signing authorities, reviewing contract information, cross-checking banking details, and identifying any fraudulent or misleading data. The position requires attentive document analysis and precise record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine contracts, banking statements, and related documents to confirm clarity, accuracy, and full completeness.
  • Validate business ownership, authorized signatories, and organizational structure using public records and specialized databases such as federal court files and LexisNexis.
  • Ensure that contract information correctly reflects all relevant legal entities and ownership details.
  • Perform due diligence to detect fraud, inconsistencies, or other risk factors.
  • Screen clients against sanctions, watchlists, and compliance databases, reporting any concerns appropriately.
  • Summarize findings to provide underwriting teams with accurate details supporting funding decisions.
  • Index and store contracts and supporting records properly and within set timeframes.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong command of English language in both verbal and written forms at C1 level.
  • Minimum high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Between one and two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent analytical insight and organizational capability.
  • Experience in legal practice or mortgage processing is advantageous.
  • Sharp attention to detail with fast error identification skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.
  • Skill to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with diverse professionals.

Work Schedule and Location

The role involves working onsite Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to midnight.
