Job Overview
We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for an immediate position based in Dickson, Tennessee. This role involves assisting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by supporting them in daily activities, both within their homes and throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Encourage and facilitate social involvement and community participation for supported individuals
- Assist with essential daily living tasks
- Promote autonomy by helping individuals make their own choices
- Respect and advocate for the rights and dignity of those supported
- Maintain respectful communication with individuals, their families, coworkers, and supervisors
- Provide transportation support for accessing community locations as needed
- Demonstrate professionalism and uphold agency standards
- Ensure timely, accurate, and clear documentation and records management
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent credential
- Pass required drug screening and physical examinations
- Clear criminal background and personal history checks
- Basic proficiency in language, writing, and computer use for communication and record-keeping
- For positions requiring driving: valid driver's license held for a minimum of 3 years, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance

Compensation Details
The hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $20.25 depending on experience and position.
