Team Overview - Data and AI

As a member of the Data and AI team, you'll contribute to leveraging data and artificial intelligence to tackle real-world business problems. Collaborating with experts, you'll expand your knowledge in AI, machine learning, data science, data engineering, and analytics, creating smart solutions that guide improved decision-making and redefine travel's future.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a relevant tertiary degree in Computer Science, IT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Engineering, Engineering Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another STEM field focused on data and AI.
  • Be in the final year of your studies with anticipated completion by the end of 2026, or have graduated within the past 18 months.
  • Have under two years of professional experience in these disciplines.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and curiosity for technology beyond academics, such as personal projects, open source contributions, AI tool usage, app/web development, cybersecurity challenges, or applying data to solve practical issues.
  • Excel in collaborative, dynamic settings and enjoy addressing complex, ambiguous challenges.
  • Hold legal authorization to work in New Zealand permanently and full-time.

Hiring Process

  1. Online application opens from 10 to 23 August; submit your profile detailing studies and motivation.
  2. Video introduction recorded at your convenience during early to mid-September to present your personality and passion.
  3. Attend Graduate Day in late September at the Auckland office, connecting with staff, participating in personal and group activities showcasing your skills.
  4. Engage in a final conversation with your prospective leader to understand your day-to-day responsibilities.
  5. Complete vetting and receive formal offers by early October.

Location and Commitment

This full-time role is based onsite in Auckland, New Zealand. Candidates residing outside Auckland must be able to attend the Graduate Day and relocate by the start date in November 2026 or February 2027.
