Supporting industries such as digitized manufacturing, mobility, and digital healthcare, ADI aims to connect the physical and digital worlds while addressing challenges like climate change. In FY24, ADI generated over $9 billion in revenue and employs approximately 24,000 individuals worldwide.

Role Overview

The Developer Events Specialist will be based in Limerick, Ireland, reporting to the Director of Developer Relations. This position requires regional and occasional international travel and involves leading events to support ADI's developer and partner ecosystem. This role focuses on improving brand credibility, encouraging adoption, and boosting developer engagement through impactful in-person and virtual events aligned with ADI's developer-first strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of events owned by ADI, including ideation, audience targeting, content programming, speaker procurement, venue and virtual production management, marketing campaigns, workshop coordination, live event operations, team enablement, and post-event follow-up and analysis to optimize future events.
  • Manage ADI's presence at third-party events such as hackathons, meetups, industry conferences, and partner-organized activities, overseeing budgeting, programming, staffing, and post-event engagement.
  • Collaborate internally to maximize visibility of developer and partner initiatives via in-house technical conferences and coordinate with ADI’s established events team.
  • Implement strategic event frameworks including operational playbooks, calendars, and scalable event kits.
  • Act as a liaison connecting ADI with external developer and partner communities, ensuring event insights inform content, tools, and product teams to streamline user value delivery.
  • Support content creation and advocacy by coordinating with Developer Relations, Product, Partners, and Marketing to gather speakers, demos, tutorials, and learning materials aligned with event themes.
  • Manage post-event engagement through recaps, recordings, tutorials, community discussions, and campaigns to encourage return visits and deeper interaction with the ADI Developer Portal.
  • Develop dashboards and track KPIs to measure event success, making data-driven adjustments to programming and messaging.
  • Oversee coordination with vendors, venues, and open-source partners, managing statements of work, deliverables, and timelines.

Expected Outcomes and Performance Indicators

  • Increased engagement in developer events measured by registrations and active participation.
  • Demonstrated event return on investment including qualified leads, portal registrations, repository activity, content consumption, talk ratings, and booth interactions.
  • Growth in earned speaking opportunities and partnerships with key ecosystem leaders.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • Must be located in Ireland, preferably Limerick.
  • Proven experience in managing scalable event programs yielding measurable outcomes, particularly in developer or partner ecosystems.
  • Track record of successfully translating event participation into sustained community engagement and activity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Experience managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; technical background preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed (~10% time) to support event activities.
    • Note: Candidates requiring access to technical data may be subject to export licensing reviews by relevant U.S. departments.
