Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Quality Analyst Assistant to aid our consultants in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data during large-scale system migrations. This permanent, fully remote full-time role involves verifying data integrity, identifying discrepancies, and supporting documentation efforts to create a single source of truth for our Berlin-based partner. The position offers a valuable introduction to understanding the structuring of financial and operational data within large enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine extensive spreadsheets and database extracts to detect missing entries or formatting issues.
• Cross-reference data between legacy systems and new setups to verify exact matches.
• Contribute to developing configuration manuals and instructional materials for client teams.
• Execute basic validation scripts and confirm outcomes align with expectations.
• Document data mapping processes to clarify data transfer logic for maintenance purposes.
• Maintain project tracking systems to record and monitor data quality issues through resolution.
• Engage in team meetings to update progress on data cleanup projects for our client.
• Acquire foundational knowledge of EPM software and data interrelationships within financial systems.

Candidate Profile

• Entry-level position prioritizing meticulous attention to detail and logical problem solving over prior experience.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including use of common formulas and data formatting.
