Data Migration Business Analyst

Project Overview

A leading bank in Saudi Arabia is undertaking a greenfield implementation of Murex and seeks an experienced functional lead specializing in data migration for this initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop MXML import and export workflows leveraging MXML Exchange technology.
• Exhibit thorough expertise in Murex version 3.1 workflows, including trade, contract, and exchange processes.
• Apply deep knowledge in Murex workflow development spanning the entire trade lifecycle, system interface creations, confirmation generation, error handling, and OSP management.
• Identify and propose enhancements to current solutions utilizing analytical and technical insights.

Mandatory Expertise

• 7 to 10 years of professional Murex experience, with 5 to 7 years focused specifically on migration projects.
• Proficiency with MXML 3.1, including XML/XST languages, data dictionaries, and templating.
• Experience constructing messaging queues (MQ) and implementing UNIX shell scripting.
• Hands-on development of MXML Exchange workflows.
• Familiarity with trade confirmation processes such as SWIFT and paper confirmations.
• Knowledge of trade interface systems: MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, and RTNS.
• Understanding of market data upload mechanisms, both real-time (RTBS) and batch (MDIT).
• Solid grasp on workflows involving contracts, deliverables, events, and exchanges.
• Comprehensive understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle processes and insight into FX, Interest Rate (IR), Fixed Income (FI), and Equity products.
