Overview

This role is with a leading global business consulting and technology advisory firm renowned for its innovative solutions and partnerships with top enterprises and financial institutions both in New Zealand and worldwide. The company focuses on enhancing operational excellence, customer engagement, and data-driven strategies.

Position Summary

As a Data Insight Analyst, you will be responsible for formulating, executing, and refining data-driven communication strategies targeted at customers across key portfolios. Your tasks include constructing campaigns using SQL and SAS, translating marketing and product needs into technical campaign components, analyzing campaign performance, and developing reporting frameworks and dashboards to optimize outcomes. Close collaboration within agile teams is required to ensure scalable, compliant, and personalized multi-channel communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage customer communication campaigns through data analytics tools such as SQL and SAS.
  • Interpret marketing and product directives into clear technical specifications, including segmentation logic and campaign architecture.
  • Conduct detailed pre- and post-campaign analysis to identify success drivers and suggest improvements.
  • Develop analytical tools, dashboards, and reports that monitor and enhance campaign efficiency.
  • Work in agile teams to deliver compliant and personalized communications across multiple channels.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience using SQL and SAS for data manipulation, campaign creation, and data analysis.
  • Capable of handling and interpreting large datasets to extract actionable insights and produce analytical deliverables.
  • Knowledge of data-informed marketing, CRM systems, and customer analytics, with added advantage for candidates experienced in banking or financial services industries.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, along with advanced competence in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving, with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • This is a permanent fixed-term position extending through June 2028, with possibilities of further extension.
