Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the expanding Generative AI Research Center. This entry-level position presents rapid advancement opportunities. The analyst will primarily work on labeling and annotating cybersecurity datasets instrumental for training large language models (LLMs) and supporting cybersecurity initiatives. The role is essential to improving product capabilities by ensuring data quality and accuracy, thereby aiding threat detection and cybersecurity research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Label and annotate diverse cybersecurity datasets like threat intelligence and network logs to prepare them for analysis and AI modeling.
  • Guarantee consistency and accuracy across labeled data.
  • Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources including internal reports and threat intelligence feeds.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and uncover potential security issues.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visual reports communicating key cybersecurity metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to fulfill data requirements.
  • Support MLOps pipeline implementation and optimization for deploying and monitoring machine learning models.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute data-driven insights for project planning.
  • Document methodologies, workflows, and data labeling criteria to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
  • Proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience using data labeling and annotation platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI technologies to enhance decision making, optimize workflows, and drive business results.

Technical Stack (Not mandatory but helpful)

  • Python
  • SQL
  • Labeling and annotation tools such as Labelbox and Prodigy
  • Data analysis and visualization libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn
  • Docker containerization
  • Version control using GIT

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Experience with Go programming language, AWS cloud, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
  • Background in Language Models, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
  • Previous experience labeling and annotating data in cybersecurity contexts.
