Role Overview
The Data Analyst position supports data management by maintaining data holdings, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, and conducting quantitative analysis to inform machine learning model development within geospatial intelligence. This role involves data transformation, developing visualizations, and automating processes to enhance data pipeline performance and productivity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is vital to maintain efficient data preprocessing and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine geospatial data for diversity, coverage, and conformity with governmental standards, delivering actionable visual reports.
- Utilize statistical and mathematical methodologies to evaluate data quality, workflow efficiency, and preprocessing progress against set objectives.
- Create and maintain analytical tools to track and visualize pipeline metrics, supporting ongoing reporting and data management.
- Manage ingestion and standardization of new and non-conventional data formats, including maintaining evolving data dictionaries.
- Support ETL processes, including data cleaning and automation to improve data preprocessing productivity.
