Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Analyst I eager to contribute to our expanding team. Primary Responsibilities

Gather, cleanse, validate, and analyze datasets from various sources.
Create and maintain insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to aid business operations and decisions.
Recognize trends, patterns, and opportunities through thorough data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting and analytical requirements.
Convert business needs into effective data-driven solutions.
Contribute to the development and documentation of data standards, definitions, and processes.
Perform ad hoc analyses and communicate results to stakeholders clearly.
Oversee data quality and assist in resolving any discrepancies in data.
Participate in ongoing initiatives to improve processes and business intelligence capabilities.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
Between zero to two years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, relevant academic projects, or internships.
Competency in Microsoft Excel, including functionalities like pivot tables, lookups, and basic analytical formulas.
Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
Effective communication skills with the capacity to present complex data findings understandably.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Familiarity with programming languages used in data analysis like Python or R.
Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
Participation in internships, co-ops, research, or projects involving data analytics.
Knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
