Custodian (Day)

Role Overview

The custodian role involves maintaining cleanliness both inside and outside the commissary grocery store, ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Thorough cleaning of sales floors, offices, break rooms, restrooms, meat rooms, chillers, and freezers.
• Operating various custodial machinery, including floor buffers, auto scrubbers, wet vacuums, and leaf blowers.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective interaction with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and the commissary leadership team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous custodial experience is beneficial but not mandatory as training will be provided.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check, physical examination, and drug test is required.

Work Schedule and Conditions

• Positions available for both full-time and part-time with flexible scheduling.
• Workdays range from Monday through Sunday.
• Shift hours run from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, with shifts lasting between 4 to 8 hours.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of $17.20.
• Additional health and welfare benefits contributing $1.63 to $4.23 per hour toward a retirement fund.
