Job description
About the Role
As a Creative Strategist – Social Media, you will become the driving force behind the growth and creative direction of our company's social media presence. Based onsite in Munich, you’ll collaborate closely with our social, content, design, and performance marketing teams to develop inventive strategies, harnessing the latest trends and leveraging cutting-edge AI tools. You'll have the opportunity to shape campaigns that scale our brand visibility and deliver powerful results, especially in the fast-paced e-commerce field.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision for social media growth by conceiving and executing high-impact strategies and frameworks.
- Develop concepts, storylines, and formats that showcase a deep understanding of channel dynamics, focusing on storytelling and performance.
- Transform market data, customer insights, and trends into compelling ideas and innovative visual campaigns—frequently employing modern AI tools for ideation and visualization.
- Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams (content, design, marketing, external partners) to deliver coordinated, high-performing campaigns.
- Build and refine systems for creative testing and optimization using AI-enhanced research and analytics frameworks.
Requirements
- At least four years of hands-on experience in social advertising, paid social, or similar functions, ideally within e-commerce.
- Native-level German required, along with work authorization for employment in Germany.
- Demonstrated flair for creativity paired with a pragmatic mindset towards performance and scalability of creative assets.
- Exceptional ability to think in overarching storylines, impactful hooks, and content formats rather than isolated creatives.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and structured working approach, underpinned by a keen grasp of current trends and platform mechanics.
What to Expect
- Collaborative and impact-driven culture—creativity and initiative are highly valued, with short feedback cycles and direct paths to implementation.
- No egos or bureaucracy—everyone’s input shapes our direction.
- Quarterly goal setting, regular feedback discussions, and unlimited budget for professional development opportunities.
- Emphasis on automation and efficiency through deployment of advanced AI tools.
- A fully onsite, modern central office designed for both creative teamwork and focused work—5 days per week in Munich.
- Flexible trust-based working hours, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
- Employee wellness and mobility benefits, providing options such as EGYM Wellpass, Jobrad, or mini-leasing programs.
- Frequent team celebrations including summer parties, pub quizzes, and barbecues.
