Role Overview

We seek a Creative Project Manager who excels as a producer, operator, and problem solver. This role is pivotal within our creative production team, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of photo and video projects—from early-stage planning through shoot execution and final delivery. You will also contribute to establishing scalable workflows and operational standards to support the growth of our Services organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive production efforts for client projects including photo, video, motion graphics, and creator content.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with creative goals from project initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration among clients, internal teams, freelancers, creators, and external production partners.
  • Simultaneously oversee multiple projects, adeptly balancing shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Develop detailed pre-production materials such as schedules, shoot plans, call sheets, and logistical documentation.
  • Arrange locations, talent, crew, equipment, travel, permits, and other logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create and maintain production budgets, monitoring expenses throughout the projects.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage external production vendors and partners.
  • Lead on-site production activities, managing day-of logistics and serving as the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
  • Adapt to challenges and opportunities during production, including occasional travel to shoot locations (approximately 25%).
  • Coordinate post-production workflows including editing, motion graphics, and creator content reviews to deliver final assets meeting quality standards.
  • Facilitate client communications through kickoffs, status updates, timeline reviews, and presentations of production plans and budgets.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and partner teams to ensure aligned project execution.
  • Drive the development of production operations by creating scalable workflows, templates, documentation, and processes that enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A highly organized individual who thrives managing complex creative projects with structure and flexibility.
  • Calm under pressure, decisive, and proactive in communication.
  • A resourceful problem-solver comfortable handling ambiguity and evolving priorities.
  • A collaborative team player with a low ego, excited to support cross-functional success.
  • An innovator eager to build new systems and improve existing processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in creative project or production management, integrated production, or agency operations.
  • Proven track record managing commercial photo and video productions throughout all phases.
  • Expertise in developing production schedules, managing budgets, vendor coordination, and project execution oversight.
  • Experience working directly with clients, articulating production plans, timelines, and budgets confidently.
  • Skilled in managing external production companies, freelancers, contractors, and creative vendors.
  • Understanding of creator content workflows, motion graphics, and post-production processes.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, and Frame.io.
  • Background in agency or production company settings preferred.
  • Availability and willingness to travel up to 25% for production shoots.
