About the Role
O’Neills Irish International Sports Co. Ltd. is looking for a motivated creative professional to join their UK Marketing Team. The role focuses on producing engaging digital content and supporting broader marketing initiatives. You will have the chance to work across a variety of sports, including Championship Football, F2 Racing, Super League Rugby, as well as with lower league clubs and rising sports talents.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside senior leadership to develop and deploy social media strategies.
- Crafting and publishing content and campaigns on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Growing and managing social media communities for both UK and global football audiences.
- Designing compelling digital content tailored for social platforms.
- Identifying and launching innovative content ideas.
- Organizing and overseeing shoot days, including location scouting, coordinating personnel, managing equipment, and logistics.
- Contributing to marketing campaign content and asset creation.
- Supporting marketing concept ideation for UK business channels.
- Keeping abreast of market trends to ensure content relevance.
- Assisting in managing comprehensive marketing campaigns.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong skills in photography and videography.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom; After Effects knowledge is an advantage.
- Up-to-date with social media trends and effective practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within the UK; travel expenses covered.
- Possession of a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Confidence in directing athletes and players on camera.
Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in content creation with a portfolio demonstrating previous projects.
- Preferably one year or more experience in marketing or social media, although not mandatory.
Work Location and Conditions
This is a nationwide position primarily remote, with occasional visits to company offices in Somerset and Lancashire. Approximately 20% of the role involves travel to various shoots across the UK, with possible future assignments in European locations as the team expands.
