Overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage special event catering.
• Calculate food portion sizes and associated costs accurately.
• Order necessary food ingredients and kitchen supplies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and cook full meals as well as individual dishes with high standards.
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff and helpers effectively.
• Keep detailed inventory and records for food items, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and work areas.
• Oversee overall kitchen operations ensuring smooth workflow.

Requirements and Credentials

• Possession of a valid Food Safety Certificate is mandatory.
• Must have completed secondary education or have an equivalent level of experience.
• Demonstrated 2 to 3 years of experience in cooking or kitchen operations.
