Position Overview
The Contract & Tender Specialist supports the department by managing contracts, tenders, and pricing processes to ensure accurate maintenance of contract and price data. This role assists Commercial Teams to maintain consistent, high service quality and implement initiatives aimed at revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), purchasing groups, key customers, and project clients, handling inquiries and communications.
- Manage price lists, including GPOs and other customers, creating and maintaining price lists and product master data in specified formats.
- Conduct sales analyses and reporting, ensuring delivery in required file formats.
- Support and assist with bonus contracts, including internal data processing, bonus controlling, and settlements.
- Provide assistance to field sales, customer service, and sales/contract managers.
- Prepare and process tenders and bidding procedures in alignment with sales management.
- Apply relevant public procurement regulations.
- Act as backup for colleagues in contract management and pricing departments during absences.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented, flexible approach.
- Excellent written and spoken German; basic English proficiency.
- Structured and independent working style with reliability and thoroughness.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Methodical, structured, and detail-focused work ethic.
- Experience with SAP, Vistex, and GPO data management is beneficial.
Work Environment
This position operates on a hybrid model combining office and home work with a 37.5-hour workweek.
