Content Developer

About The Role

AMD CyberSec is seeking a creative and dedicated Content Developer to craft original content for our website and promotional materials, incorporating copywriting, graphic design, and technical elements. This role involves developing user-friendly, SEO-optimized content tailored to cybersecurity topics, collaborating across departments, and managing content distribution across various channels including social media.

Responsibilities

• Devise content goals and strategies, presenting ideas to the Marketing and Communications leadership.
• Work closely with team members and other departments to brainstorm and develop creative content topics.
• Produce original, clear, and accessible content applying effective SEO practices.
• Create new web content and revise existing material to ensure quality and relevance.
• Edit and proofread all new content prior to publication for accuracy and coherence.
• Manage the dissemination of content across multiple platforms, including social media channels.
• Evaluate content performance through analysis of key metrics and website traffic to assess effectiveness.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
• Experience in copywriting, graphic design, programming, or related activities is beneficial.
• Proficient use of content management tools such as Asana, WordPress, Photoshop, and Flash.
• Basic understanding of HTML for content formatting and presentation.
• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and analytical abilities.
• Competent in working both independently and collaboratively within teams.

Additional Information

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, research, and teamwork skills, with prior experience in cybersecurity content development considered an advantage.
