Consultant Intensivist

Position Overview

A leading super-speciality hospital located in Kandivali West, Mumbai, is seeking two expert Consultant Intensivists to join their cutting-edge Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role emphasizes providing critical patient care with a balanced and manageable workload through a structured four-day workweek.

Work Schedule

• Shifts are 12 hours long, running either from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• The workweek consists of four days, operating on a rotational basis.

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic qualifications include MD or DNB in General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, or Pulmonology.
• Relevant practical experience managing medical and surgical ICUs is preferred, including competencies like placement of central venous lines, performing intubations, and handling mechanical ventilation.
• Strong clinical acumen, prompt decision-making under pressure, and effective communication with patients' families are essential skills for the role.

Compensation and Work Environment

• The monthly remuneration ranges between ₹150,000 to ₹200,000, adjustable according to experience.
