Role Overview
The Consignment Account Manager plays a key role in fostering and expanding crucial relationships with top consignors to enhance inventory acquisition and maintain supplier loyalty. The position involves managing a portfolio of valuable consignor accounts, ensuring a high-quality and personalized consignment experience from the initial onboarding phase through ongoing inventory coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage over 40 high-value consignor accounts, acting as the primary daily contact.
- Develop long-lasting relationships through consistent, proactive, and tailored communication.
- Provide luxury-level service to guarantee consignors fully benefit from the company's offerings.
- Reengage dormant suppliers and uncover opportunities for deeper partnership.
- Implement outreach initiatives aimed at boosting supplier engagement and inventory expansion.
- Contribute actively to inventory acquisition targets and team key performance indicators.
- Explore possibilities to widen consignor involvement and product volumes.
- Represent Stadium Goods at industry functions and networking events to enhance supplier relations.
- Craft and deliver customized communications concerning product trends, promotions, accepted brands, and platform updates.
- Coordinate inventory tasks to ensure a smooth and comprehensive consignment process.
- Continuously monitor consignor inventory to identify improvement opportunities.
- Address routine account issues swiftly; escalate complex concerns as necessary.
- Assist with data collection and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory planning.
- Collaborate extensively with marketing, commercial, customer service, catalog, and operations departments to meet consignor requirements and support business goals.
- Provide analytical insights on supplier trends and challenges to drive advancement within the Partner Success division.
Qualifications and Skills
- Between 2 to 4 years or more of experience in account management, customer success, sales, business development, or managing supplier relationships.
- Proven strength in establishing and maintaining robust client partnerships paired with outstanding customer service skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills suitable for handling multiple priorities and a substantial portfolio of valuable accounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional, client-centered focus.
- Comfortable working towards targets involving inventory growth and performance metrics.
- A collaborative team player skilled at working across various internal groups.
- Self-driven and resourceful, capable of excelling in a dynamic, entrepreneurial work environment.
- A strong enthusiasm for sneakers, streetwear, luxury fashion, or resale markets is advantageous.
