Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Computer Hardware Technician (Fresher) to join our IT support team based in Bangalore, Raja Rajeshwari nagara. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience with hardware installation, maintenance, and technical support within an IT infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and configure desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and networking problems.
- Replace defective hardware such as RAM, HDD/SSD, power supplies, keyboards, and motherboards.
- Install and set up Windows operating systems along with essential software applications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system health checks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
- Provide basic IT support and assist users with technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and hardware components.
- Document repair, maintenance actions, and service requests diligently.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring data security during repair activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or ITI certification.
- Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Experience or knowledge in desktop/laptop assembly and troubleshooting.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, Wi-Fi, and TCP/IP.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows installation and configuration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time well.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate in a team environment.
- A positive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow.
