Role Overview

The Cleaner position at Beyond Velvet involves regular on-site, full-time responsibilities centered around maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bakery premises in Dubai. The areas under care include production zones, storage, customer spaces, and restrooms.

Key Duties

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, sanitizing equipment and frequently touched spots.
• Ensure waste is collected and disposed of properly while keeping cleaning supplies replenished and orderly.
• Adhere to food safety and health standards to support a hygienic kitchen environment.
• Assist the baking team by keeping work areas neat and organized.
• Observe and report any repair or safety concerns promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Competence in general cleaning tasks including cleaning floors, dusting, sanitization, and garbage management within a food preparation setting.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety protocols applicable to bakery and kitchen environments.
• Strong focus on detail, reliability, and effective time management to ensure consistent completion of cleaning routines.
• Physical ability to remain on feet for lengthy durations, handle lifting of light to medium items, and operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Good communication skills for coordination with team members and clear reporting to supervisors.
• Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles, ideally in hospitality, food service, or retail sectors, is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work shifts which may include weekends or evening hours as per operational demands.
• Basic proficiency in English to understand instructions and safety guidelines.
